Cash Games and What’s Running on the Floor
Our poker room operates around the clock, and the mix of games is usually broader than players expect on a first visit. No Limit Hold’em is the mainstay on the floor, offered at four regular stakes: 1/3, 2/5, 5/10, and 10/20. Pot-Limit Omaha tables are available at 2/2 and 5/5. If you prefer mixed formats, we also run 20/40 Omaha 1/2 Kill Limit as part of our standard rotation. Higher-limit games are arranged on request, so if you want to play above the listed stakes, just speak with our desk team and we work from there.
In line with standard market practice, the rake is 10% of each pot, capped at $20. This cap applies consistently to all cash games running on the main floor.
| Game Format | Stakes Available |
|---|---|
| No Limit Hold’em | 1/3, 2/5, 5/10, 10/20 |
| Pot-Limit Omaha | 2/2, 5/5 |
| Omaha 1/2 Kill Limit | 20/40 |
| Higher-Limit Games | Available on request |
The poker room is located on Level Two of the Grandstand Casino inside the resort complex. Most players come as walk-ins - no advance booking and no membership card are required to sit in a game. When every table is full, the desk issues a pager so you can wait nearby and move freely until your seat is ready. Once it buzzes, you return to the desk and we seat you. The whole system is designed to be straightforward and predictable.
Getting a Seat: How It Actually Works
Joining a game is simple, and the process stays the same from midday to late night. Here is how it usually looks from arrival to first hand:
- Arrive at 1133 Queens Plate Dr, Toronto, ON M9W 0G4.
- Go up to Level Two of the Grandstand Casino, where our poker room is based.
- Check in at the poker desk and mention the game and stakes you prefer.
- If there is an open seat, staff direct you to the table immediately.
- If there is a wait, the desk hands you a pager that vibrates when your seat becomes available.
- When paged, come back to the desk to confirm and receive your table assignment.
- Take your seat and buy in within the posted minimum and maximum for that stake.
- Once chips are in front of you, you are part of the game.
As a practical tip, especially if you are new to the room, it helps to arrive a little earlier than you think you need to. Wait times for pagers move up and down through the day, and having a few extra minutes to settle in, find the restrooms, or grab a drink before you sit can make your first session more comfortable.
The same flow applies whether you walk in at noon, in the evening or closer to 3am. Our room is accessible every day, and the poker desk manages registration and seating from 11:30am until 2am. Outside of those desk hours, ongoing games continue on the floor without interruption, so active cash tables do not shut down when the desk closes.
